WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

Because of the nature of the corals being a live animal we cannot accept any returns. No exceptions. In the event of a DOA please see the DOA policy.

WHAT IS THE DOA POLICY?

All corals that are shipped out will be happy and healthy. I will guarantee that all the corals I ship will arrive alive. In the rare event that a coral does not arrive alive, you must email me directly at Sales@BlueCarbonReefing.com with pictures of the deceased coral within 2 hours of delivery of the coral. This will be based off of the delivery time posted on the shippers website. Please do not dispose of the coral. If in my opinion I believe the item to be deceased I will either issue you a credit to your account for the full price of the coral or you can opt for a refund minus a 20% fee.

I cannot credit or refund any shipping costs.

I PURCHASED SOME CORAL WHEN DO YOU SHIP?

Once an order has been paid for I will reach out to you to confirm whether the entire order is ready to ship or if there is anything that needs to be freshly cut. If anything is freshly cut we can decide on a day that works best for you. I will not ship a coral until I get the go ahead on a day of arrival from you.

WHAT DOES WYSIWYG MEAN?

What You See Is What You Get.. When something is labeled WYSIWYG you are purchasing the exact coral in the photograph. If an item is not listed as WYSIWYG it may vary slightly in size and color from one frag to the next.

ARE YOU SHIPPING FRESH CUTS?

For most corals they are pre-cut before they are added to the website so they would have days to weeks to heal before they are sold. Some corals may not be cut until they are purchased for the health and growth of the colony. If a coral is freshly cut I will reach out to you to either choose to have me send a freshly cut coral or work out a shipping date that will allow the coral proper time to heal before being shipped.

HOW DO YOU TAKE YOUR PICTURES?

I typically run my tanks with a strong blue spectrum. Most of my pictures will reflect that. The photos you see are taken with either my cell phone using a orange lens filter or my Cannon EOS M50 also using an orange lens filter. The purpose of the orange lens filter is to filter out some of the blue light to more closely reflect what the corals actually look like. If you would ever like to see what a coral looks like under more white spectrum please feel free to email me at Sales@BlueCarbonReefing.com

DO YOU HAVE ANY PESTS?

No matter who I get a coral from I will never assume it is pest free or allow it to enter my system without a diligent dipping and QT process. I do everything I can to make sure all of my corals are pest free. I also believe that no one should ever assume a coral is pest free and put it directly in their system. Dipping and having your own QT system is a best practice and should be a standard for any coral you receive.
